Cookie Policy

Everyclick Ltd gives you the tools to allow you to raise funds for good causes.

Allowing you to raise those funds conveniently and easily without disrupting your shopping or searching, showing you how much you have raised for the causes you care about and ensuring that we pass the funds on to those causes accurately are key to our business.

In order to achieve all this, Everyclick Ltd needs to use cookies on our various websites.

This page explains which cookies we use and what they are used for.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your computer by websites. The information cannot be seen by any other websites (so the information is secure) and is used by us to provide features to aid the use of our services.

We use three types of cookies on our websites

  • Session cookies that are deleted after you close your browser.
  • Persistent cookies that remain in place across multiple visits to our sites.
  • Third party cookies that are used by our approved business partners.
Session cookies These enable you to carry out some essential functions on our sites, such as maintaining log in details for the session. They also help by minimising the need to transfer information across the internet. They are not stored permanently on your computer and they expire when you terminate your browser session.
Persistent cookies These cookies remain on your computer for a pre-determined time after which they are removed. They are used for such things as enabling us to recognise returning users to the site and allowing them to carry out fundraising without the need to sign in every time.
Third Party Cookies These are cookies that our business partners create. Some are essential, such as those used by stores to track your purchases. Others are not essential but useful, such as those used by Google Analytics - a tool which we use to monitor the general use of our website and allow us to make changes to improve your experience when you visit.

If you would like more detail, you can see a description of all the individual cookies we create ourselves and some information on third party cookies created.

Why do we use cookies?

We use cookies to remember who you are so that you can continue to raise funds without the need to log in each time. Because you can use the same login for and, some of our cookies are common to both sites.

Other cookies are used to control certain aspects of our sites, such as when messages are displayed or to remember options you take as to how certain things are displayed.

In order to track your purchases, cookies are stored on your computer, they simply store tracking information so that when you use our sites to visit a store, the purchases you make will result in the store reading this information. The store will then send us information about your purchase, at which point we can display the amount raised in your account and pass it onto your cause. In order to use Give as you Live to raise funds for causes, you must have cookies enabled in your browser.

We use other third party cookies to monitor the general use of our sites so that we can change them and improve them. Once such tool is Google Analytics.
